Going Hybrid: Events in a New Phase of the Pandemic
The first in a series of mini seminars aimed at organizers of academic events. These seminars will cover various topics around organizing and running physical, virtual, and hybrid events.
Tuesday, July 26th, 11am EST
Meet with other organizers to learn how they're transitioning to hybrid events in a time where physical events are becoming practical again for some but not all. We'll start with a short presentation by Virtual Chair event producers that have facilitated 100+ virtual and hybrid events over the course of the last two years. The presentation will cover some of the tools and pitfalls to keep an eye out for while going hybrid and then open the floor to discussion to hear from other organizers about their experiences in this new phase of the pandemic.
